Meet Me in St. Louis

I have never seen the movie Meet Me in St. Louis.  The only thing I can tell you about it is that it was released in 1944 (….and THIS is why you want me on your trivia team).

Instead, I can tell you how 6 college friends found themselves in St. Louis.  It goes a little like this:

Two of my friends live in St. Louis, so the rest of us drove down for the  prior to heading down to Nashville.

Once we reached Cardinal baseball territory, we channeled our inner 10-year-old girls with games of Mall Madness & Mystery Date (hey! When’s the last time you called around to find out if Bryan from the skate park wanted to ask you out?! )

Early the next morning, we made the requisite trip to see the arch.

Then we braved the small martian-like elevator rides up to the top…

…and one highly entertaining video.

After the arch, we made our way to the Anheuser-Busch brewery tour.

After the tour and a lunch at the chicken palace, Hodaks, we were on our way to Nashville with a bottle of Jack and a hankering for country music.
